Well as some of you may have gotten the email I am currently in charge of handling all retailers now. So when you email donations@airsoftcanada.com you get me.
What does this mean for you?
-Faster response time
-Reason for approval or not of your request to retail
-Less downtime on ad and retailer status glitches
If you have been trying to contact ASC in regards to being a retailer feel free to give that email address a shot again. I should have things running at a steady state by next week I hope. I am just in the process of getting familiarized with all that needs to be done.

Im pleased to announce that ASC is supporting Movember and Men's Health with the ASC Moustace Brigade!

So far we have several retailers who are donating prizes that will be awarded based on a popular vote for the aesthetic qualities of the moustaches grown. Moustaches will be judged in a number of categories including

BB Bastard now Supported by Stirling Airsoft |

I'd like to announce that BB Bastard has been selected as the official BB of Stirling Airsoft.
They trialed our product over the summer and are very pleased with it's performance. BLOG ENTRY HERE
We are very impressed with the folks at Stirling (and have been for some time). They take MilSim very seriously and are advancing the sport in a myriad of positive ways.
Our new motto is "Take Airsoft To The Next Level" and Stirling does that across the board.
We are also launching our product in the UK at the Airsoft Arms Fair on the 8-9th of October in parnetship with Stirling Airsoft. BB Bastard will be there to meet’n’greet and answer questions for our “cousins across the pond". It is the biggest airsoft trade show and event of its kind in the UK, and just recently expanded to two days due to sell-outs at previous events. If anyone from our local community is in the area, let me know and we will see about getting some tickets arranged! Stirling will be there running a live training CQB lane and running BB Bastard exclusively.
What does this mean to Canadian players?
It means we are a solid and viable business, moving forward, and embracing innovation and change. We are here for the long run (almost 10 years and counting), and that will pay off for our loyal Canadian customers. We embrace competition, and will never give up our drive to stay in front of that competition. We will continue to listen closely to what our loyal Bastards tell us is important, and will embrace new Bastards all over the world, with new experiences, to make our product even better.

This came to the attention of the ASC staff several months ago, the user in question back then had their age verification removed at that time.
We just received this via PM's recently. Said user is now pending court on several charges.
So keep this in mind when the members here tell you to wait, get age verified and visit the retaillers already established in Canada and who are doing it legally.

Replica firearms seized at the Pigeon River port of entry
Pigeon River, Ontario, July 28, 2011 — The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) seized prohibited replica firearms from a Canadian resident at the Pigeon River port of entry last month.
On June 16, 2011, a CBSA officer referred a vehicle for a secondary examination. During the examination, officers discovered and seized a total of eight airsoft replica firearms and four replica magazines. The driver failed to report the replica firearms even when specifically questioned about the prohibited goods.
The driver was released on a Promise to Appear at an Ontario Provincial Court on August 16, 2011. A joint investigation into this case continues between the CBSA and the Ontario Provincial Police Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit.
Replica firearms are prohibited from entering Canada under the Criminal Code, the Firearms Act and Customs Tariffs and may not be imported into Canada. The Customs Act stipulates that all goods entering Canada must be declared to the CBSA. Smuggling, untrue statements and other Customs Act violations may lead to prosecution in a court of law.
