All I can say is: Good riddance. Never played against them, but in almost every youtube video I find them in, they act like complete assholes. They seem to think that because they dump money into their gear and training, they can do whatever they want. Nice to see those silly children get what was coming.

GMR used to be a good crew. Then Ronin took over. While he's not a bad guy himself, the direction he's taking his team (they went from "let's be the best" to "win at any cost and post cool vids on youtube") creates a culture of cheaters and self-righteous asshats.

Perhaps one of the more 'connected' players could contact someone who was at the site and they can clear a few questions.
This is a wake up call to many who have let themselves be strongly influenced by GMR. The team I play on had looked into the GMR and briefly took some training tips from youtube video, nothing wrong with it but once I had seen the game footage they put up of them breaking rules I took a step back. Needless to say, with the many options online to draw from we quickly stopped sourcing from them.
The small community I play in has had trouble with the 'win at all costs' mentality and my team is the first place I look to make sure no one is fuckin cheating!

Short story (from people who were there/know them):
Most guys are alright, Ronin is a huge (insert insults here). Team was originally great, gradually some of the older members stopped playing or left the team and the only original remaining is Ronin. He has undoubtely one of the largest egos in US airsoft.

Cocaine shenanigans & tooth chipping were the two things I cant for the life of me understand. Anyone care to explain this?

2. Serious allegations of cheating chronies (swapping PTW cylinders after the chrony, stuff like this)
3. Rumors of Ronin having stabbed someone (for real) a while ago.

Hgggnn I think I screen capped' it when it was posted by an (ex) friend, but IIRC it was a bar fight though he has supposedly threatened people IRL with his knife ingame.

We do have a Ronin on ASC (and a lot of variations on the name) and AFAIK no member of GMR are present on ASC, so don't go hassling innocent people or anything.

Googled GMR and there is one user on here from the team. However the post I found was from 2008.

Don't have any personal experiences with them but there has to be something very wrong with them if they have been banned from multiple US games.

I'm loving the #FreeGMR tags people have posted on their page. Sho shilly. =P
