it is 90 degrees out today, REALLY warm gun is breaking bottles in said bag o' stuff i am testing in.

someone wanted to see how i did the teflon tpe on the hop up/inner barrel, well this is what i came up with...........

i thought you were supposed to tape the part where the inner barrels meets the rest of the assembly? perhaps i was wrong though

i will try that too. i was kinda flying blind, and looked for possible leaks.

Don't think you did the Teflon tape mod properly...

From my understanding of it, you're supposed to teflon tape the hop-up to the barrel to stop any leaks..

But I don't bother with mods like that with such a limited life-span

werd, it is tough to see, but i have the tape around the barrel enough to allow the bumper to VERY TIGHTLY slide over it. so i think the seal is pretty dam tight there.

if you look at the last pic closely, you can see it coming out JUST past the metal part.

if you look in the pic, you can see where the overhang of rtape is on the barrel, making the rubber bumper thing fit SUPER snug right there. then, once i put the hop up ball and metal adjuster on it, it is SUPER tight, so i am pretty sure it is air tight now :)
