CSOR

There's a JTF2 thread, but looks like there's no CSOR thread... so here we go.

There's many pictures in training on CF Combat Camera, but actual photos in operations? Now that's something else; they're pretty rare.

Found that pic on Wednesday's daily thread on MP.net and the camo looked like CADPAT, so it raised my suspicion... looking for more info of it on Google I found more pics.

This is a painting, but as this was comissionned by a CF LtCol, this was most likely based on a photo.

Found there: http://shadowspear.com/vb/threads/ca...pilation.5682/ (there's a few more that were posted in the JTF2 thread already)

What, you dont? :D

Sportco December 5th, 2010 15:52

Ok.... look at foot wear, holster, vests, side arm color

Shoot I was in better matched halloween parties.... one of these guys is wearing sneakers... I say we do a collect to equip CSOR

As for the griffon... sorry can't locate it in the pick, maybe in another one in the series.

My point was that I didnt know CSOR was training with airsoft... closest ive seen so far is FED platoon in St-Jean using paintball launchers as noise makers because of law (no guns in civies hands.

Cheers

Pete

Ps Give me 25 feet of fast rope and I'll rig you something to take pictures..lol

They're not training with airsoft.. what tells you they are?

They don't care about color matching, they care about using what works. And these are officially released pics taken in Petawawa.

Back to question one... do they use crane stocks in CF?

Shadow of the Griffon can be seen in picture #2.

Just look at the operator finishing his fast rope descent.

Crane stocks were not "designed" for airsoft.
So yes, they are used, locally and in the sand box.
Operators choice.

Ballcancer December 5th, 2010 16:15

Also really no reason for an airsofter to wear a repel/retention line harness ( not really sure what its called) check the operator in the middle not wearing a bucket

I have seen guys use these stocks overseas myself, so yes CF people use these stocks. And yes the shadow of a helo will appear small when its flying at a certain altitude

PVS-14 kits are issued with multiple mounting solutions, depending on the helmet, again operators choice.

I don't see any sneakers. I see a mix of tan/black 5.11 issued boots in 6" and 8" cuts.
