Cybergun GSG-522 AEG is this gun any good or should I look into the SRC/TSD version instead

Haven't personally used it but I think its a rebranded ICS (I could be wrong though), I would recommend google searching reviews for it as well. Another idea would be to get age verified through Airsoft Canada (If your over 18), Than you would get access to the classifieds which contain a bigger selection of guns (Full Metal ones too!). Edmonton even has there own airsoft forums also http://www.edmontonairsoft.net/ There we have our own local Classified section as well, but you need to be AV'd in order to view them too. Jeff who actually owns capital airsoft is an AV'er so if you actually went to the location (its on the yellowhead) he could verify you for EAR and ASC. Hope that helps.:)

I am heading down to Capital Airsoft this thursday or Saturday and I will get the Age verified done then.

I in fact just bought the GSG-522 (it came with a spring M1911 also).I unboxed it, went outside to try it out. The instructions told me to load the bbs into the compartment and to rotate the wheel at the bottom of the magazine. I did that until all of the bbs were at the top of the magazine. I put in the mag and I started shooting (full auto) 2 or 3 bullets came out and nothing else. I pulled out the mag and 3-4 bbs just dropped out of the gun when I pulled the mag out (where u put the magazine in, a bunch of bbs came out of there). I put the mag back in and rotated the wheel again and it wouldn't work. I flipped the gun upside down and it was shooting fine. Is there something wrong with my gun? Somebody plz help me

Keep rotating the wheel and fill it with quality bb to the max
Losing bb when you can remove the magazine is normal

I got one myself. Originally bought for my brother to use when he was in town, but he never is anymore lol.

Shoots all right, if a bit hot. I had to shoot about 10 mags wroth of BBS through it to get it down to 495 FPS. Shame I can't get to down to use in CQC, lol.

It's as simple as a spring swap.
