I heard tell of a man who could make hard plasticy pockets in an oven.
They were called "hot pockets".
For the OP, good boots, approved eye wear for you field that you play on, a bushel of burlap and netting to make a ghille suit and some some sort of camouflage clothing to wear underneath.
