Looking for a Hop Rubber, Nub and Nozzle
In the quest to optimize my G&P M4 I have now come to my barrel, hop up and nozzle. I currently have a 10.5” barrel with a 363mm inner which I will conceal with a suppressor. I have a Modify hop up with the Modify rubber. My unit doesn’t use a nub, forgive me I don’t know the nomenclature but the arm on the hop up that pushes the nub has a bump on the end in lieu of the nub. I have a replacement arm to receive a new nub.
I know I have compression between my piston and cylinder (type 2 cylinder) but I need to double check the cylinder to air nozzle. I have checked my nozzle-hop up seal by shining a light through the feed tube on the hop up to check the amount of light entering the barrel and there is a small amount so my nozzle isn’t sealing well to the hop up.
I have seen lots of discussion about “getting a good seal” and “get a good rubber” but I don’t know which products to look at and what will be efficient with my Modify hop up unit. What rubber, nub and nozzle should I purchase? My intent is to run a M110 spring for outdoor with .28s (minimum) and an M90 with .20s for indoor.
