well Jay was kind enough to lend me his Oasis for a bit to see if i can work out a solution to reduce the FPS.
i have found two ways to do it and am doing some tests to see which method if not both work best for constancy.
so far, i have been able to get the Oasis shooting down around 260 FPS. I'm aiming at making it fire no more than 340-345 FPS. already with it shooting 260, it has become really quiet.
tomorrow i should have time to nail this down and start making parts.
