Ok, finally got some new "N" cell batteries and they don't make any difference in the dots brightness what so ever. Also needed to machine a couple of slots into the retaining groove of the battery port cover to lock it in place. These two issues alone, (and these being the reason for purchasing the bridge), would have prevented me from buying this carry handle. I would have just gotten the one with the rail instead and mounted and actual working RDS.

Save your bucks unless you want the "look" or unless STAR "fixes" these problems.
