This is just a rant, but it's strange how North Americans don't use the word "lease". In N.America, the guy who leases the item and the guy who rents the item both "rent" the item - it's so bloody confusing!
One time I saw a sign at Home Depot: "We rent equipment!" - I thought to myself - "who do you rent it from?". Not really, but you know what I mean - the word "lease" exists for a reason, but it's completely non-existent from N.American vocabulary.
Just a Wednesday rant!
