Sig P226R

Observant people will notice that the text portion of this post has been cut and pasted from another section of this forum...

SERPA (only 1 adapter shown, there are 2 others), mags and the P226R

Again, with the suppressor

Othersie, with the suppressor

What started off as a TM Sig P226R has had the following done to it.
- Installed Guarder metal Frame/Slide kit - excellent fit, no assembly or tolerance issues, unique serial number and trades are engraved, not painted
- Daytac 3 dot night sights installed. These actually glow green in low-light/dark and appear white in light.
- VFC Silencer kit (metal outer barrel, internally treaded, adaptor, silencer)
- real Hogue grip installed
- Nineball aluminum piston (red)
- Nineball bearing spring guide (filed very slightly...it was hanging up in the hopup unit/chamber block)
- 150% recoil spring
- unknown tightbore
- 4 x TM mags, one is new and used twice. All the valves have been checked out, taped and reseated. Zero leaks, no feeding issues.
- real Blackhawk Serpa holster w/ belt plate, paddle-style plate and STRIKE MOLLE Adapater plate. Pristine condition. Black, right handed. The long screws to mount the STRIKE plate come with the STRIKE plate...which is a nice touch..

This pistol could benefit from a tighter piston/blowback chamber seal. It's a bit of a gas hog but can make it through 15 rounds a mag (real steel) easy. It's a very comfy and solid piece. Pretty enough to get you arrested for committing indecent acts in a public place.

I'm a HiCapa guy...so I doubt I'll ever use this one.
