Get a nice (new) exacto blade, a couple of antiseptic wipes and cut it the fuck out yourself. I've carved all sorts of shit (mostly splinters of wood and glass) out of my hands over the years. It's a bit of a pain in the ass if you have to work on your strong hand, but otherwise it's not that big a deal.
You'd have to deeper than the BB is do any nerve damage.
If you want, go to your GP for some trumped up reason, and if he's like mine, you can grab Xylocaine and 2.0 silk if you feel the need. But a BB's sized hole should require neither, depending on your pain tolerance of course.
