As I'm kinda dreaming of building myselft a Kimber Warrior or Desert Warrior-style 1911 some time in the future, I was wondering if those were single or double stack; would a KJ-05 (double-stack) be a good base?

Else, which 1911 series would you suggest to base this build off?

BTW, MEU(SOC) are single-stack right?

EDIT: I read that an HiCapa would fit in a Glock Safariland 6004... Is that true? Would it also fit a single-stack 1911? (as there's no 1911 replica 6004, but Huang's 6004 for Glock seems a good bang for your buck).
