Ultimately, if you want to build a Kimber Warrior, you can just buy a Western Arms Kimber Warrior or Desert Warrior as the cheapest route. However, WA has several downsides... expensive mags and very hard to find replacement parts if things break. It's also not metal to start - you'd have to do conversion kits to get it to full metal, but if you don't want to mess with all that, it's good to right out of the box.

However, as a gaming piece, I'd recommend building it off a Marui Colt M1911A1, seeing as how you would have to switch all of the controls anyways. Neither the Colt M1911A1 nor the MEU have the proper control types to create an accurate replica. Because of that, it's cheaper to start with the older Marui 1911 model (it's a cheaper gun vs the MEU) and then do a full conversion.
