Lowcaps I think are at 90 now because of the KA FAL or something. Anyway it's generally 70-90
Realcaps are self explanatory

Some people use highcaps for scrims here, but it really does take some of the fun and challenge out.
When the hell did midcaps become 190? I thought 120-150 depending on the platform (AK midcaps are generally higher than m4). And when did low become 70-90??? it was 50-68 not that long ago.

Also it's not BB count that determines the "Capacity" term. MP5 hicaps are generally <120 rounds. it's the need of a winding mechanism vs a double/single stack spring.

smallest mags you can get for the FAL are 90 rounds, I think it was claybank or claybank II that we made the exception for. I don't know why since they're not that popular anyway lol

I agree midcaps should be 120-150. I think it was MAG that started making the 190rnd midcaps. I believe it was also decided at claybank that midcaps were 90-190 and highcap was anything above.

It's not so black and white as it used to be with all the new retailers making different capacity mags

I thought it was socom gear? I know their Lancer/Troy midcaps are 190.

Anyways...for particular specific stuff like that I don't see an issue...and those guys are usually well tuned into the theme/experience of the game vs. hosing stuff down.
Sten ONLY functions with lowcaps/midcaps since it feeds from the side, level with the ground.

You didn't search... they are the same mags as the G3 and PSG-1...

Tons on the market, plus they are metal!

*Damn Jeff, too quick!*

Fair enough. But hey, no need. I got an outdoor gun with plenty of midcaps, so I'm good!

You can mod the mags to midcaps via MP7 mags, I have done it. But otherwise, as Brian has said.. she's a lovely beast, even more so with the midcaps!

Same goes for the BAR, there is a DIY midcap conversions. Essentially, if you hate it enough, you'll fix it somehow

In Canada, majority of players run midcaps. Hicaps tend to get annoying quick. Unwinding at an inconvenient time is the biggest annoyance IMO.

I find it fails me when I really need that quick shot and instead end up mag ticking instead.

I have found the perfect use for hicaps.
You hot glue the feed tube so its blocked off and no bbs can come out then you drop a handfull of bbs in the trap door and hot glue that sob closed too.
Then you hand it to a small child and youll have the most tacticool baby rattel ever made.
I find it works best with mp5 mags because m4 and ak mags are a lil big for babies to hold onto.
Ill suggest that when gluing the feed tube you get the tip of the gun in far and then use a small dowel to push the glue down far and for the trap door put the glue on the inside of the mag then shut the door then there isnt any exposed glue for the kid to chew on.

Yes i understand some guns are hard/imposible to get regular mags for lol.
And yes smgs ard fine with box mags and such

Typically:

Realcap = 30 rounds (or whatever the real firearms capacity is unless it's a SAW)
Lowcap = Any non-winding mag of under 100 rounds
Midcap = Any non-winding mag of 100 rounds or more
Hicap = Any winding magazine regardless of capacity

Hicaps suck but when almost all new guns come with them that's all most new players have to run with. Most learn quick that hicaps suck and get lows or mids.

Got some mid-caps for my first AEG shortly after I got it. Liked them better than the high-caps, so used them pretty much exclusively.
Got to the point where I COULDN'T use high-caps anymore, so I sold what I had.
Why couldn't I use 'em anymore?
Kinda embarrassing, really.

Kept forgetting that I had to wind 'em...
