Airsoft Ain't My Only Hobby...

Yeah yeah yeah...it isn't airsoft, but it's MEDIA!

This is what keeps me busy when I can't play with my guns.. These toys and my guns have something in common. They both took very long to arrive. Only I had to wait 8 fucking months for these to arrive from China. "Custom Order" because I ordered them just before they were discontinued.

Without further adieu, I present my cage:

Holy smokes.

Umm.. yeah... the Rock Band video game probably wouldn't really teach you how to use a full set like that...

Lol, funny you should say that. I played the game and SUCK at it. It's too damn basic for me to get into it, lol. You can't rock out like a drummer is supposed to!!

That's a cage I wouldn't mind being locked into...

hahaha same here with rock band, I play guitar and when I tried it I sucked big time!!! Very nice set up indeed but only one bass drum???!!! Sorry but I hate how double pedal sounds like. Im kind of picky on thta but otherwise, kick ass set! You should do a youtube video to show off how you use all that stuff!

Yes, they sure are. Got tired of breaking sticks, lol.

Nah, more around the $4500 - $5000 range. I'm still not done buying shit for it, lol.

As for the single bass drum. It's simple and easy for me. I don't have to spend all my time tuning the two drums to sound exactly the same, if not super close. I was thinking of replacing my Iron Cobra's with Axis long boards, but because of the way they're built, they aren't practical. I'll be picking up a pair of DW 9000's in a few months.

I spent about 7 years playing on a decent, but inferior for its time Pearl Export. The kit in the pictures above are Exports. I wanted to upgrade to Masters Customs, but I won't spend anymore than $1500 bucks on a shell package. It would be pointless at this time in my life since i'm not gigging right now. I record once and a while in my buddies studio, but that's about it. $1100 got me a 6 piece kit and I was able to keep all my hardware. The rack and all the cymbals. Plus my main snare and my auxilary snare. Just slap the right skins on the kit (EVANS Hydraulic) and these babies sing. Not too high, not too low. Just perfect for me.
