That noise is from increased ISO (which allows the camera to take photo's in lower light by increasing the sensitivity of the sensor at the cost of adding noise).

Slowing the shutter speed, using a tripod, flash and a faster lens will help deal with iso noise... (As well as lowering the iso value to as close to 100 as possible (and away from 1600+))

Now that's a gun! How is your PVS set up? Helmet mounted?

And did you get it to work with the ACOG?

Bad-ass shit Chris!!!

But the ACOG on a CQBR is a little over-kill

Love the new toys - totally jealous!

The sling adapter is a Troy setup.

Using the eagle pig drop slider QD attachment.

Currently trying to source one of these for the PVS-14

Of course, LaRue is a little locked down right now. I would like to be able to engage the PVS-14 without removing the rear BUIS. I was able to line up the Acog with the PVS-14, but its messy and requires you to screw around with the objective lens quite a bit.

I always have the ACOG handy, it has been my go to optic for a year now, fills every role except for NV compatibility. I have been considering switching back to the m4a1 barrel though.

I'm tempted to paint the PVS-14 (no fear) - it stands out a bit, and I dislike black void gear :P

My current work in process:

The CTR stock is temporary, while I wait for an FDE Crane stock.

The LMT iron sights, I think I'll keep on there when I'm not running optics.

I have a set of KAC style FDE flip up BUIS coming in as well, for use with a SpectreDR/DocterSight combo.

M3x replica coming in as well as a KAC style hand stop.

More pix when the setup is more complete.

Sexy gun Chris, if you have an issue with the PVS not being the same colour as the gun, paint it, otherwise I'd leave it the way it is.

Illusion, nice rifle there too!

It's a Prime-spec Magna platform.

Aesthetics aside, I built it from the ground up with a few goals in mind:
- Hard kicking blowback power
- Fast cycling speed
- High durability
- Superb fitment and finish of parts

Basic rundown of internals responsible for achieving the performance goals (recoil & cycling speed):
- RA-Tech Bolt Carrier Group
- RA-Tech Hard Kick Set
- RA-Tech 5-Bearing Roller Hammer
- RA Tech AW-Super Recoil Buffer ( Ver. 2 )

The final result: I'm able to get 700rps at a very consistent 425fps (I've yet to dial that down with the NPAS.)

My main reason for doing this, was after having owned both the "regular" Inokatsu and the "Super" Inokatsu, I was convinced that they were overpriced dogs that needed a good beating. In terms of Canadian pricing, I built the above setup for around the same price as a bone stock Inokatsu M4 MTW, and it performs WAY better and WAY MORE RELIABLY.

Hey Illusion what brand do you use for the hop up assembly and trigger set? I'm still using a G&P set (trigger and hopup)
