Tried out my WE magwell on the DS. I honestly think it looks a little better.

Yup, sure does look better. I love the WE magwell. Good replica of the STI. Too bad Shooter's Design doesn't have one with the STI markings.

Going to pick up a bunch in Hong Kong.

I'd love to see a pic of all your guns lined up. This would shadow alot of people's pistol collection in here.

Question, how did you stripple your 5.1 dual tone grip? Thanks and keep up the inspirational work :P

Yea, I love the WE magwells too. They look great. If I had a lot of money to blow I would get a real steel STI magwell and try to fit one.

My collection right now is pretty small, just my two hi-capa race guns(STI Executive and the TM DS) and my TM Delta, which I just sold. It should be getting a little bigger in the next few months. I plan on picking up TM SIG 226 in about 2 weeks, the TM MEU as soon as it comes out and maybe even a WA M4. All will be upgraded of course. I just used a soldering iron to stipple the grip on my DS. All I did was use a sharp tip on the iron and poke the grip a whole bunch of times.

Went picture crazy tonight. Took some shots of the open DS build with the new scope mount. Next up will be an SD infinity slide. Still deciding if I want to get a thumb rest for it or not and I'm on the lookout for a cocking handle. Also got shots of my new TM P226 and took a current group shot before the Delta leaves me.

Any chance of a picture of your 4.3 Stainless minus the extended magwell?

Also, what did you use to mount the compensator? I know it was a PDI comp, but a few more specifics + where you got it- I want one for my 4.3

Fantastic pictures. It really makes me want to fiddle around with upgrades, both performance wise AND cosmetic.

How did you polish the side of your compensator?

Thanks guys.

Bob the Angry Potato - I have pics of it without the magwell but it is in stock form. The comp is uses a little adapter that attaches to an extended inner barrel and is secured to the inner barrel with set screws. Then the comp itself just screws onto the threaded inner barrel attachment and the comp is held stable with a set screw. I got both the comp and the inner barrel attachment from www.X-Fire.org.

ILLusion - I polished the side of the comp with 800 grit sandpaper and a small block of wood.

New slide, new magwell, and a 5.1 guide rod added. After I get my thumb rest in the exterior of this gun is done.

Nice TM mods. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the G17.
