Looks like we are going to have nice weather for our event this weekend. Things are shaping up well for this event and we have gotten a lot of response from our NE WW2 community. Not sure of the numbers attending somewhere around 20 probably. When the fog of war has cleared, and the dust has settled I'll post a AAR with some pics. Wish us luck!

Cheers,

Jer

video

Here is a quick video I did of some of the action from our event. On Saturday we had 12 people, 6 Germans and 6 Ami's. For Sunday, we lost two but still had some very good action both days.

Yeah, It was a awesome event. Even though we had a smaller turnout. I guess that can be expected for this time of year. It snowed for a lot of the event so it had that Ardennes winter feel. A good amount of weapons went down cause of the cold but we had a bunch of cheap backup M1 carbine springers that performed like champs if anyone had a problem with their gun. My AGM MP40 worked great. I only went through one battery each day. I was very pleased with how it worked in the cold. Everyone was designated semi-auto except for one machine gunner who could spray away. That helped the engagments have a more realistic tactical feel.

Nice video. Everyone looked the part. Field looks great. We'll have to try and make it over to one of your events and we can bump up your numbers. And any time you guys want to make it out to our events you are more then welcome. That also includes the living History events as well. We have a weekend event in the Niagra area that's a lot of fun. This it will include staged battles on the Sat. and Sunday.

Oh and btw your account on our forum is all setup and ready to go.
