Dropzone Tactical (Edmonton) has high quality (better than issue) Cadpat clothing as well, but you have to be willing to pay the price, and there is almost always a wait time involved for the more popular items.

Ironwolf Enterprises is located in PA.

And Seals Action Gear is in Calgary.

Those were the only stores I saw listed at the beginning of this thread (or am I looking at the wrong list?). But in the course of this thread, it has been mentioned that some surplus stores carried the Frontinac CADPAT. What I am asking is does anyone know of a specific surplus store within 120km of Kitchener that has the Frontinac stuff in stock? Or, locally, am I SOL?

Beaver, Creative and Savemore are all in Toronto--Oakville is between Toronto and Hamilton, well within your 120 km limit. You can call to see if they have stock. Creative does almost all the time.

oops ops:

I though "beaver" and "creative" were members who dealt in this stuff (like Tru deals in guns). Sorry about that. Shouldn't have assumed.

Thanks again.

np, it's more the people in the GTA who just assume everyone else knows what they're talking about. Anyway, Creative Outdoor is up in Markham (a little pricey, but they almost always have it in stock), Beavers is at Dufferin and Orfus (nice place, but can be hit and miss for some things) and Save More is at Queen and Jarvis (fucking piss head owner who I hope has his store burn to the ground).

From Canada411.com:

Creative Outdoor and Sporting Goods Centre
905-709-1535

280 West Beaver Creek Road,
Richmond Hill, ON
L4B 3Z1

Is this the place, KD? If so, this is not far from where I used to live (border of Markham and Richmond Hill).

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. Have someone else from that area confirm. . . I just know it's the same plaza with the Korean BBQ restaurant.

EDIT: I double checked, yes it is. Here's their page.

I found this place to purchase CADPAT (Pants and Jacket) for $100.00 USD If you happen to be XXL, unforuntatly they do not sell the jacket in XXL, only XL, but they DO sell the pants at the same price regardless of size (49.99) I have not delt with them at all, so I cannot vouch for them (Not that someone with 4 posts really would make a huge diff LOL) so buyer beware. They claim that it's Frontenac, does not include the IR treatment, but is the same material as CADPAT less stuff like double knees, butts etc (That's what they said in an e-mail when I asked at least)

Northdoorway
Box 1420
Kaslo, BC, Canada
V0G 1M0

(And No I don't work for them, just found them searching in one of my many google searches for CADPAT)

I contacted NorthDoorWay and they have confirmed that the stuff they sell is Frontenac. (Just FYI)
Hope that helps.

Here's a new, reversed question. I have a Frontenac CADPAT shirt (and soon to be pants) and a new CADPAT boonie hat. I find it all to be somewhat too dark, and would like to fade it to look like this:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...264309779&rd=1

Aside from washing and wearing over and over again, how can I get it like the above pic? I know that washing it in hot water and cooking the hell out of it in the dryer fades the real stuff (as told to me by a CF member) but was wondering if that will work faster than having to wear it every day and constantly washing it (it's not a uniform for me, unlike CF soldiers.) I'd like to avoid bleach (although if a small amount would help, I'd try it), but if anyone has any other suggestions, thanks!

I have an F-ing CADPAT question. This guy...

What the hell pattern is his vest? It doesnt even look like 'Digicad' or any of the other knock-off stuff. And any idea on who makes the vest?

What size do you have? No, I didn't pay that much for mine, some other bonehead paid that much for that one. I just used the above pic as an example of what I want my CADPAT to look like. Now I do have it looking great, slightly faded, very bright colours (mostly the light green, and the blacks are more subdued) now since I've been bleaching the hell out of my stuff. Am surprised that none of it faded very much, which goes to show that it is very fade resistant.

As to the above question, I believe that is Jungle Stalker.
