Hi Guys, does the 9.6v 2400mah battery have a too fast rof for the feeding of bb's on an aeg?
I have a sig552 with that battery, and it seems sometimes it shoots a shot or 2 of blanks when I do auto fire. But the single shots are always good. the aeg has metal bushing and pdi140% with area1000 piston head.

I run a 12 Volt in my TM M4 and it loads just fine, sounds like you might have another problem.

@ blackbox: It really depends on what kind of spring you're running. If you're running a stock spring, you're going to have problems in the not too distant future - you're just going to be running too fast. If you're running a 150% or 170% you'll have fewer problems. FYI, I run a 8.4v 2400Mah in my AK with a 150% spring, and the ROF is significantly faster than that of a stock gun. If I dropped the sping down to stock, it would be crazy fast. I don't even want to thing what adding another cell might do.... |

12V with STOCK M4 !
I hope you are prepared to replace everything in your gearbox if you actually use that kind of battery on a stock m4  |

I think it's been well documented that Flak3r uses a systema high speed setup. I've actually seen a 12v going off with stock gears, and let me tell you, it's literally a hose for bbs.

Well just to let anyone whos intrested in a super high ROF gun, my m4 is still alive n kicking at over 30,000 rounds, shooting at 1200bps, with a m100 spring...

You can easily have your ROF to high with a large battery like that. Try Hi caps as you can wind them up and have the spring tension tighter than a stock lo cap.
That battery is overkill for that spring, a 8.4v 2000 mah is all you need in there. |

you mean 1200 bpM or 1200 rounds per minute, right? 12 volts on a stock mechbox is not reccomendedunless the proper upgrades are done - and those would be systema flat cut gears (not torque up or speed gears), ball bearings instead of metal bushings, a precise shim job, and all the best lightweight and soft materials for the piston, piston head, cylendar head and tappet plate. basically a jam will rip apart the piston instead of the gears. add to that a proper grease job and the correct cylinder for the barrel length (short barrels are better for high rpm) and you have a bb hose that will have a decent life, but will definately break down sooner than good old stock.
