Finished my latest AEG and painting project...an MG36 in Arid Cadpat/Marpat mix. Not the most practical I know, but saw some pics of a few painted up in desert cam (not cadpat mid you) and just wanted something a bit different. Anway, I was pleasently surprised at how well it did actually blend in.

WOW dude, that is some nice job!

Though the MG36 has 6 ports in front, so this one is more of a G36K MG ... or something.

Sure looks good though!

That very nice, looks especially sweet with the G36, just one question though aside from the killer paint job, where did you get the idea to add blue, it is somewhat of a nice touch

Umm no it isn't, maybe if you look closely there are colors that resemble very light blue

RGB value of that colour is somewhere around 49 - 51 - 64. So technically it IS blue. Not grey.

But it does appear grey.

Lol..jesus you guys will argue over anything.... :smack:

For the record it is TAMIYA - J.N.Grey (XF-12). So for next time, try to wait for the person who DOES KNOW what colour it is, to answer the damn question before the rest of ya go off ASSUMING you know everything (in true ASC fashion).

Anyway, I got the idea and inspiration from here: http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums...ic.php?t=16335

Thanks Scatter,

Yeah it's kind of a 'Franken-gun'. I did get the E front end with the 6 ports, but it will not hold a large battery (or any batter for that matter). So I can set it up with it using an AN/PEQ II, or this configuration. Just got some rails in today (thanks Poonstar); one will go on the bottom for a vert grip, the other on the side for the PEQ if I want to use it with the E front end...pictured here:

Kinda interesting that one... though must be a bitch to carry around on the field!

Hey, that C-mag you got, is it the TCD Motor Driven C-Mag? I was looking to pick one up for my G36.. though kinda decided not to since... well, its its huge.

Not that huge mate, in fact when I first got the C mag I was like "dang, that's smaller than I thought". It wasn't too bad to lug around, though I might rig up a sling for it. Stock wont fold up with the c-mag on though.
Not 100% sure of the make, but yes it is motor drivin. Got if from War 4: http://www.airsoft-war4.com/details.php?pid=1443
