Real Marpat????

I've noticed alot of threads on real and fake cadpat and marpat, and I wanted to know if anyone can confirm that the real mil issue marpat material contains little green ega (Egle, Globe, Anchor,) stamps within the pattern? Or at least if the gortex marpat does?

If anyone has anything they'd like to kick into the thread on fake or issue cadpat it might be usefull to others.

Considering Real Marpat and Cadpat aren't supposed to be sold in Canada you'd think it'd be a hard question to answer. But.....yes it does have the Marine markings in it and I think it looks pretty damn cool. I don't own any but I wish I did for late summer/early fall because the stuff works so well in low cut brush!

Yes, real MARPAT does contain the mini-EGAs.

Some of the fake stuff has the globe and hammer too. My digicam is broken but I have a set that is not issue but has the globe and *anchor* in the pattern. The tag just says the size and "Made in USA", no brand or anything. The tag and cut are different than the Arid MARPAT set I have which is made by Proper and *doesn't* have the globe in it.

EDIT: OK globe and ANCHOR... for some reason in my head everytime I wrote "globe and anchor" I thought "hammer and sickle". Guess one slipped out :-|
