So, got a quick question for everyone.

I got an order coming from JF. I recently got the tracking number on the 15th.
Says "Electronically submitted" Now I've seen this before so not worried about that.

I got randomly bored and checked a few of the older ones, I noticed one that one submitted "2009/09/03" and still says "Electronically submitted"

So, my question is.. Is it in the hands of Canada Post or?

no it doesn't mean anything. I've had packages from the US that says that on the day i pay the person. I believe it's just a system for the seller to take advantage of. i.e they can just submit the shipping information just to get a tracking number. Why would canada post keep your package for that long anyways? hopefully you can get your money back.

Aren't mulitple accounts a ban-worthy offence?

Serpentor's account is still active, so is Joe Friday's?

This should end right here, right now. Swift and harsh justice.

Would this be your attitude if he owed you something?

Where can I go for additional information on this subject?

"Order has been electronically submitted" can show up when you use Canada Post's site to make (and pay for) a shipping label online.

Normal process is you go to their web site, fill out the size and weight etc. of the package, print out the label, stick it on your parcel, then drop it off at the post office.

Canada Post's info sometimes lags but it does mean that the shipper submitted and paid for a shipping label online. Doesn't say anything about when it was (or is scheduled to be) dropped off though (that should be a separate entry of "item accepted at [...]")

WTF is your problem? Seriously.

I don't have anything on order from him, but there are rules on ASC. It should be clear that the thousands of dollars he has owed members here for years is not going to ever be repaid, yet here he is hawking his wares here.

He needs to be banned, period, or there will be another Propscam.

And if he owed me something, I would spend $1000 to fly across the country to collect $100, I've done it before. I don't need an internet forum to collect money.

If his accounts gets banned now the ppl who have yet to receive their tracking numbers will never get them. Lets just see what he does next. He does seem to be getting his packages out so let him send the rest of them.

Don't really have anything to add, but SERIOUSLY!?
As someone who waded his way through the PropsCan fiasco all those years ago (5 or 6 if I remember correctly), all I can say is good luck and keep up the pressure on him. I did my order in the end.

Perhaps a quick refresher is important for the new kids?

- Greg started a company called props canada about 7 / 8 years ago.
- He set up a preorder with AMAZING prices
- Tons of people preordered.
- Then, through his work or the suppliers fault, very few actually got guns.
- He spent the next few years trying to repay the people who he owed guns or money to.
- Tons of people were left with no gun or cash.

If he's back here, MAKING MONEY, and not paying back those people who STILL (after 7 years) don't have their refund.

Well I'm not a rocket scientist but I can imagine some people wanting his head again.

This is how Propsacm started. Just wait a little longer, just a few more tracking numbers, another 2 weeks?

Years later, still unresolved.

Brian has given him 30 days. If he hasn't delivered in that time, he never will. Ban is definately warranted, then fraud charges.

This information will be forthcoming. Let's just say that I have provided enough information for you guys to begin tying clues together.

I can't give out names at this time, but for now, it basically goes like this:

Start combining addresses and phone numbers as provided through public web sites for the given business names (one of them is linked directly) and tie them to phone numbers provided in the Props Canada threads (check the entire forum dedicated to this fiasco.)

Secondly, some guys who purchased through JoeFriday had contacted him through the same number as provided in the PropsCanada thread as Greg's own number.

Finally, some guys who purchased through JoeFriday picked up their goods from the address listed for Movie Props Services.

If the tracking info says that the package is at the post office, then it is there.

We have a full forum dedicated to it. Sit down in a comfy chair and pull up some popcorn and start reading...

"Electronically submitted" means squat. I use the same system.

"Electronically submitted" only means that the seller has paid for and generated an address slip to be attached to the package. Until the tracking information changes to "Package accepted at so-and-so postal outlet", then CanadaPost does NOT have it in their hands.

I'm not sure what the time length is on how long these can be held for, but I once double-paid for an invoice and had the tracking number reserved for it for over a month before I realized and had to cancel it. Canada Post never gave me any notice, nor did they cancel the tracking number.

The only reason why we've kept his accounts open for so long (and many other scammers, for that matter), is because once the account is closed, it leaves a lot of buyers with no contact information or recourse to reclaim their products or goods.

They have no opportunity to work things out with the buyer.

In any case, Greg has 30 days to issue all products and refunds, after which he will receive a ban and he will be reported to federal authorities. All buyers who have not received anything from him are welcome to use his information that will be provided to file any lawsuits against him or file cases using RECOL.

At this time, it's easier , less expensive and less restrictive for Greg to get his ass on things and pay up, than a couple of years with a jail sentence plus fines.

30 days... and as many of you around here know, I make good on my promises...
