Welcome Zeta Lab to become a part of ARES Airsoft company. This is a great opportunity that ARES will gain more knowledge on special feature which Zeta Lab could bring to us, and product range will be extended under ARES's ownership.

Hmmm could that mean the Vintorez they're making will be available soon?

news of the acquiring by ARES has been out since the end of june, that's the reason why ZL has been blasting away with many projects recently.

The VSS is on preorder I believe on AirsoftPanda.

And as for the Mosin, I have never handled one, I cannot tell.

Well, now at least is covered by Ares AWESOME customer service......

The Ares Mosin is a ZL model that comes with the gas bolt installed and a "proper" hop up unit.

The gas bolt itself is a limited aftermarket oem piece for the ZL Mosin which were sold as springers which ships next week.

The V1 ZL Mosin hop ups found on the first batch of Carbines were nothing more than feed chambers

G&G Kar98k release date moved to December.

Boyso September 30th, 2011 16:47

Oh and apparently, the Bren project is cancelled.

Strelok September 30th, 2011 16:59

Heard about the move 'til december... Shitty. Gives me much more time to stuff cash into savings for the damn thing.

Should we expect other things to be cancelled as well? Perhaps their MG42 will be on the tightrope too...

Boyso September 30th, 2011 17:04

Well the other gun like the Bren, I think it's called the ZB-something is cancelled too.
