What kind of duster gas do you use? I had used propane exclusively so I am not very familiar with the specifics of duster gas.

There's only one recommended "kind" of duster gas for airsoft use: Tetrafluoroethane, HFC-134a.

anyone else having issues sighting this? I put on a 3-9x40 scope and I can't sight the scope low enough to where the gun hits... I aimed the scope all the way down and hop-up all the way up and still no dice. I'm using G&G .2g bbs that came with the gun. target is roughly 15m away

I thought maybe i had a defective scope but same issue with my 2.5-10x40
stock iron sights work but i need to raise the rear sight nearly all the way

did i do something stupid?

the first issue is the BBs you are using, .2s are going to be way to light for that gun. I found with mine it shot like crap with both .2s and .25s.

They would come out all wonky and not fly straight or they wouldent go very far. it wasnt until i dropped the 36s in there did it start to really work well.

Im also not using a scope on mine but i also use mine as an assult rifle or sorts. not a DMR.

The stuff i use is a brand called "blow off", i have had a great amount of luck with it.

As long as you do not try to dump the mag at a crazy rapid rate one after the other you can get the whole 22 round mag out of a single fill with it. however this being said, over the summer at PRZ i was able to fire it fairly rapidly and still get use of the whole mag, a double tap here and a triple tap there is fine, but laying on the trigger and frying to do a 22 round tap wont fly.

hey guys, just wanted to let you guys know how I fixed my kc-02.

- because the outer barrel is bolted into place on the receiver only on the lower side of the barrel, if you torque in the two bolts too much it forces/pulls the outer barrel down. To fix this i just put a couple layers of electrical tape under the outer barrel to wedge it up.

Here's a photo to give a rough idea of what I did... (this was too much tape)
http://i608.photobucket.com/albums/t...14113223AM.jpg

this along with a clean hop-up fixed my issue perfectly. I came up with this after i noticed that the back of the receiver seemed to droop down in relation to the front of the barrel.

This gun is crazy accurate! power went up considerably with a 510mm tbb. It has little too much power now. I will be installing the steel bolt and maybe getting a shorter tbb.

Has anyone installed the ratech steel bolt carrier. I'm curious of the results.

just wondering what internal parts a "fully upgraded" KJ 10/22 (KC02) would contain
planning on getting one, I've heard that stock kc02s are meh,

If I was going to go for a DMR set up what parts would i get internally?

only thing worth changing is the hopup rubber and the inner barrel. thats all i have changed on mine. internally the thing is built solid when its stock. no need to fuck with it if it doesn't need it.

hell even stock that gun is a naildriver. very very gameable out of the box, gamed mine a ton of times before i did anything at all to it.

Well that settles my "fence" sitting too. I will probably be getting one then too. Has anyone tried double stacking the extended mags into 7.62 mag pouches? By double stacking I mean side by side.

i use m14 mag pouches for mine and lay them one on top of the other, works rather well for me.

Anybody have any luck with a M1 para stock fitting?

DJBackfire January 27th, 2012 01:56

Sweet, that is what I was planning on doing with them. For the pistol grip, I have read that it's a wa gbbr and I have also heard it was an aeg style. In other words I'm wondering if this grip would work on it http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/accessori...ies-black.html

yes its a WA GBBR pistol grip but that one will most likely not fit due to the back portion or it. the only one i was able to get on there was the MOE grip with the normal back end. but it looks sexy so im happy with it.
