friggin awesome. where'd you get the foam cut?

It's the "pick and pluck" stuff from Pelican. Took me about an hour with a plain Olfa blade (a super sharp black one). Super easy to do.

Are kits the ones with blank lowers or is that a different year?

All kits 2006-2008 are blank lowers.

Not certain on the new kits though, but likely this is still the case.

Couple guys asked me what my EL003 looked like after some shortening, and how much it stuck out with the lipo, so here it is. Hopefully I can get a tutorial up. I found out this board was worth $150 after I took a pair of pliers to it, HA.
