even if the neighbors know, make sure the cops know. seeing as its on privet property, it SHOULD (not is) be ok, but like others have said bad things can happen if your not prepared

In my younger days, it did happen that the police came. And we we're playing PAINTBALL.

Some random dude decided to walk into that specific private field and he thought we were carrying rifles with beer cases.

When I look back, it didn't really matter since we had cheap pumpers.

Now if you have a 400.00$ AEG, you might want to reconsider the option of warning the local police. Having your AEG confiscated is not a fun ending.

I'm sure you've thought of it but I'll throw it in anyways. WEAR EYE PROTECTION. First day I shot an airgun (Yes I know it's not airsoft...same point though) it ricochet off a plastic garbage can lid and hit me directly on the bone below my eye. I've only got two of these perdy browns and I'm assuming we both find sight very important to daily life.

Ha alright that sucks and we knows..but seriously should I start listing down everything im going to do with my friends so were safe, the public is safe and this is legal? Just so the questions and reminders stop?

Nrg_guitarist March 10th, 2010 23:19

Well its not that I don't appreciate your advice but my friends know the down low on airsoft, I'm very sure things will be fine if we follow through precisely with everything. We will be talking to a police officer, we will get neighbor clearance, each player will wear proper equipment and will be explained the rules and responsibility each person has. We will not be stupid...if I knew someone stupid was coming to play, they wouldn't be be allowed to play.

make checklist so you don't forget
-Let your neighbour know (month advance, then one week and one day before game)
-let Police know you have game at your field so They would know what to expect if they get call
-Set Boundaries for field so you or your friends don't accident wander into wrong place
-SAFETY
--use ballistic approved glass, paintball mask, or Mesh mask.
--Keep mag out, and gun safety on until game start.
--Make sure there is no fragile thing like window, and so. (To prevent any risk of cut from broken glass)

make sure you get the name of the police officer so that way if some other cop came and you can tell them that you already spoken to that guy or even have a paper sign by them if you can

not going to comment on if its ok as asc and ak never see eye to eye on that. HOWEVER remeber that who ever owns the property is assuming liabilit for you guys. not dislike you usin a trampoline at a friends house. if someone gets injured things could turn nasty.
when someones kid gets injured they seem to always look for someone to take the blame but them.

btw a waiver wont help. you cant make someone sign there rights away.
