Yeah but if I can get the grips off, I might be able to find out why it's not. Hopefully I can just swap in a Marui trigger bar and get it going. Also, thanks for the assurance BloodSport, that's good to know. I'll keep messing with them to see if they'll come off.

So, in the last five years has anyone figured out if it's possible to mod the SS226 to be double action?

I was pretty sure of it but I wanted to surf it out a bit to confirm what I already thought. Numerous reviews on the interweb seem to confirm that it's designed to be only single action. :( In addition, the "TM compatible" claim seems to only limited to magazines and then that's not even guaranteed.
