I usually carry one under my left shoulder and one on my hip. I will mostly fight using only one pistol, but when the shit hit the fan, two pistols means more ammos in your hands. I use the one in my good hand more than the other one, so when the pistol is my good hand is out of ammo, I usually still have a half full magazine in my other pistol.This means that you are not defenseless while reloading, you still have enough ammos to deal with surprises. That's the only reason to use dual pistols really. Also, don't point and fire both pistols at the same time, you really can't aim that way, try to point one forward, and the other to your back, or anywhere the enemy can come from. This way, if someone shows up, aim and shoot with the pistol that's pointing toward them, and forget the other pistol.

I often take 2, but my kit is totally messed up because of an eye dominance thing. I am right handed and left eye dominant. I can easily fire a pistol left or right with no problem, but a long weapon(even shotguns) tends to be left handed for me. I can still shoot them right handed, but I cant keep both eyes open if I want to hit anything. So I carry a pistol on a right leg drop holster, which works great when I am up and moving cuz I leave my primary on my left side or in my left hand and draw with my right. I did find it very annoying on the ground or crouched because I tend to keep my right side in cover and sometimes find I wish I could get at a pistol(especially when entering a building) with my left, so I put one either in a shoulder or high crossdraw holster so I can get at it with my left hand. Like I said, its messed up.

Way back when, I carried a glock 17 in a holster on my vest and a glock 34 in a leg holster with 4 mags between the two. Never really used both, so I lost the holster on the vest and stayed with the glock 34.

I often carry one in a strong side drop leg, strong side 2oclock on my vest and one on my hip, offset for the vest, 6:30-7, accessible by both hands (but much easier for my weak hand).

The only time it has ever come in useful is during 5minute-or-less skirmishes in Saigon/CQB. It's a hell of a lot of fun, though. Also, your guns will get scratched up to shit.

carrying two pistols only means one thing: having two backups, using them at the same time (unless it's CQB and just for the laugh value) will usually result in you getting shot, and missing someone who's 20 feet infront of you.

but both pistols should share magazines, this way, if one of your pistols goes down you'll have plenty of ammuniton to go around..

i used to run a 3.9 infinity (western arms, with the meat tenderizer front) and a P14-45, they shared mags (well, the 3.9 had a smaller magazine, but could use all the P14 mags)

and the once or twice that i couldn't reach the P14, that 3.9 came in handy. usually while crawling through undergrowth, or while pinned down and out of ammunition in my primary.

but, dual-weilding = dumb. be it rifle or pistol.

But one must keep in mind that sometimes, doing something dumb is a hell of a lot of fun! :D

That being said, I wouldn't really recommend playing seriously dual wielding anything. But just to go out and have a fun round with dual pistols is a lot of fun. I've tried it with dual M11s, and it was a blast. Not very effective, but a lot of fun.

Eh...My pistol is a clear (yes clear, oh noes! lol) KWC Smith & Wesson M&P 40. Cheap $70 Walmart CO2 powered gun....but still shoots at like 370-380fps :D

bingo. it's all about having fun and the Hollywood style playing during a skirmish. be it a la Matrix or whatever since most BB's rounds can be spotted and dodged.

haven't you guys had that Hollywood moment where you wished there was a camera trained on you as you dodge BB's and make kills left right and centre? even if it's not on tape, it's something to brag about post game. :D

The only time I acutally used both glocks at the same time, targets were 30-50ft, it was on the "speedball" field.

i've had a few moments when my primary has gone down and the enemy are a stones throw away, and all i can do is CHARGE and hope that the hail of bb's will stop them from hitting me until i get close enough..


come to think about it, if you use one to supress and pin (not really 'aimed' more like 'keeping your arm in line with the other') then the other can actually be aimed and might even hit something!
