it's not that we can't, we choose not to. nothing to do with vets. the majority of the vets here will spend the time to explain countless things until you are bored and wanting to leave, but they will keep talking. trust me, I have been in numerous mid game post game discussions that if we didn't have to go home, we'd still be there talking about kit, guns or past games.

We, the community, support a strict 18+ rule. does it suck to be 14 and in your position? sure it does. will we bend the rules for you or anyone else? nope.

Ok well then why do 90% of adults not know of airsoft

because we'd rather them not know! it's better that way!

Ok so if we sign waiver and play along side someone then it's ok?

that someone, at least in Ontario, will need to be your parent or legal guardian. not an older sibling or a family friend.

In addition to the legality and the wishes of field owners, and the ability of ASC to set it's rules regarding classifieds-
I simply would not want to play with 14 year olds. There, I said it.
Playing milsim. Simulating combat. We have our kit and our guns and we go down to the right type of belt and what not. The last thing I want is a child in the field.

I've thought of international humanitarian law regarding the use of child soldiers enough, the last place I care to think of it is down range of my gun.

Just my two cents.

Why do 95% of adults not know that tritium is a by product of a Deuterium Uranium fission reactor?

Then maybe there should be minors league where we can learn the sport and then move on up

I hope you are not talking about buying ClearSoft from Wal-Mart. That is not an investment, that is just a waste of money

There are....

Ambush Anonymous
Low Shots
"EASY" Group (Edmonton Airsoft Youth)

Like we've been telling you seek out clubs that allow minors. I've even given you information that's relevant to your region, is there any easier way we can spell this out for you?

That is actually not true, we are being helpful. We answered your questions about the ICS,and we are giving you honest and helpful answers to your questions about underage players. Please don't mistake not being helpful with not getting what you want. You are welcome to stay as part of this community as a minor and to gain experiance, but because you are a mature young man, please respect our communities rules.

kalnaren June 17th, 2010 19:19

We don't allow it because 90% of the kids we get are whiny little bitches that complain about how "mature" people should be allowed to play and can't see beyond their own selfish interest far enough to get the legal reasons why having a kid run around with an imitation firearm is a bad idea.

Huh. Sounds kindof like this thread, doesn't it?

As it stands you have been informed of this websites policy and where the community stands on it.

You have also been informed of possible options and play venues that may be willing to accommodate for your age.

This discussion has reached its high point and is now over.
