My 240B is wicked mang

It's a sure thing that the RS M4/M16 AEG/GBBR will be release, they are just trying to make it perfect. There are plenty images and info of RS m4/16 AEG and gbbr already, go search them. If that still can't convince you, I can give you my other resource but you need to read Chinese. RS is one dedicated company in the industry that always bring new ideas to airsoft; not like systema, lying on their 10 years old design instead of develop new stuff, even their TW MP5 is nothing new but a variant of the PTW system.

I am not saying PTW is crap, That's why I put the PTW in the high end section, however, PTW's time is almost over. They will fade away if they don't bring something new on the table, just like the F-14 Tomcat.

PS: for RS m4(both aeg and gbbr), their gun bodies are built by T7075 allunimum,forged and CNCed. Systema only use pot metal, unless you spend other 600bucks or more for a fancy Prime body.

The man has a point, all the picture are currently just external, there's no 'working' prototype. Basically RS' display is the same as Tokyo Marui's HK45, M&P pistols both are just external wall hanger right now.

I don't want to be rude to RS fans, but judging on how many companies fail miserably on GBBR I'll hold my comments on them.
Examples:
G&P
VFC -AEG was considered medium (internal) medium-high (external)
-> GBBR was considered to be not so good. Bolt carrier wears out, magazine unique from Magna system (doesn't work efficiently)

G&P -AEG was considered to be high (internal) medium-high (external)
-> While there's over 30 variants of WA Magna system, they still use pot metal bolt carrier that will need to be replaced every 3k.

SRC -AEG was considered medium (internal&external)
-> GBBR was considered to be a junk (hop up can't hold zero, plastic magazine tabs

Inokatsu -AEG was considered low-medium (internal) but very high end (external)
-> bolt carrier, nozzle, hammer still breaks even after than 2011 edition (5th generation already) Pricing is ridiculous. Oh and did I mentioned they didn't machine out the forging seam?!? every AR-15 firearm manufacture will CNC machine out those seams, not Inokatsu (but 30% AR-15 lower will)


Base on your business practice, I suggest

AEG:
Real Sword (AK, T97, Dragunov)
VFC (SCAR, AR series)

GBBR:
WE (AR series [M4, M16, hk416], G36 series [G36, G36K, G36C]) but make sure you offer RA-Tech parts as long term the firing parts will wear out and be destroy due to poor material
KJW M4 (nobody really likes the tinted lower when you can get metal lower. and the second reason is $500 2mags for tinted lower is way overpriced)

Keep in mind, high priced high quality guns don't necessary mean they'll sell, or be profitable.

I woudl sugges first of all you take a look at your regular customer base and see what flavor of hardware you want. The guys who walk in the door with a wad of cash, not the online "if only" guys.

Then when you know that go to a trusted guy like Brian, or other experienced players and see what brands will suit those models.

I've visited those Chinese sites that you spoke of and while I can't read any of it, I've as impressed as the next guy that that RS is going through the trouble of CNCing the receivers for their glorified toy guns. You do not need to convince me of the quality of RS externals. However, the whole point of this thread was to rank airsoft companies based on quality. You placed Real Sword up there not based on their current lineup but on the yet to be released ar15 models. How can you be sure that that the RS GBBRs won't suck since this is their first foray into gas guns? VFC makes outstanding AEGs but mediocre GBBRs for example. Also, I don't think that the PTW's time is over, they were never number 1 to begin with. A $2000+ pot metal gun with fancy yet fragile electronics never did impress me.

It is really helpful to this gentleman, doing market research for a bunch of knobs who don't have any guns to voice their opinions on what they think is good.. or to spend 6 posts discussing the relative merits of guns that can't be had in the market.

Echo1 rebrand their stuff from other company when it comes to AEG internals can vary with how much a company wants to spend ie. Echo1 M240B when I compared mine vs a friends Trigger happy version the only external and internal difference is teh colour of the hop up and a slight modification on the tappet plate on the echo1 quality wise I have to say that their product are getting better every year compared to their first batch. Every manufacturer or company that rebrand others wants to make money and for sure they are not going to put out crap year after year so they will improve, some company faster than others but the question is who wants to be the top first? Marui seems to loose that interest years ago. Company like King Arms, Classic army G&P rebrand their stuff under a different company all the time it's just come down to the big question $$$$ how much is the other guy willing to pay that's why we have such a huge variance within different rebranded products

I'm new to the world of Airsoft so I'm curious here. What about the RS M4/M16 AEG will make the Systema PTWs worthless?

Nothing at the moment. T@nk is basing that conclusion on a few pretty pictures of a non functioning prototype gun.
