the problem with the RA-Tech NPAS is in its design. the only thing maintaining the power output setting on the NPAS, is friction. once the gun starts to cycle, the vibrations will cause the NPAS to unscrew it self. so slowly the FPS will drop until it wont fire any more. this can be fixed by using some loctite, but then you loose the ability to adjust the FPS.

percisely, the bigger issue is that the flute valve is tends to like to rotate when gas is feeding and this in turn adjust the NPAS. WE NPAS (not the nozzle one) does not have this issue since the NPAS is the flute valve, WA/KSC/WE-nozzle NPAS has the Nozzle base as the NPAS.

i have found the flute valve NPAS to be problematic as well. the cross pin that holds the valve in place can snap in half due to the weight of the flute valve. an MP7 i worked on had this happen, and i had to make a new larger diameter cross pin to prevent it from breaking again.
