I love it Ricochet, if you start a petition let me know, I'll get all my friends to sign it.

Yeah, completely understandable Skeletor, just frustrating. Been waiting about 9 months now. I scored in officer rankings with my aptitude test and my interview went extremely well. Turned in my last medical forms about 6 weeks ago. Just playing the waiting game now. I'm extremely physically fit and very eager, I know its a matter of time. Infantry, here I come.

Go to a shooting range to lose my real steel virginity, then buy a real steel gun. Find a better job. Sleep with at least one hot babe.

Airsoft wise:
  • Install a new barrel on the Christmas gift from the wife (KJW 1911).
  • Buy more magazines for both guns (only 5 low cap's for the G3, and 3 including the two in the mail for the 1911).
  • Buy my middle brother a gun, probably a AK variant knowing his tastes.

Personal wise:
  • Get back to 200 lbs, I'm 50% of the way there without dieting or extra exercise ... vacations and holidays tend to make me fat, so I've been avoiding them.
  • Learn Mandarin Chinese, because my vocabulary at the moment sucks (I can say a few phrases already that the wife has taught me but still pretty bad unless I want to pretend I'm a two year old when speaking).

-Get out to more games
-Re learn french and improve
-Take some university level math courses in preparation for my upgrade to Electronics Engineer from Electronics Technologist.

I for one have a ton of things I want to do this year but I'm not sure how much of that will become a reality.

The things that are for certain are:
-Get the rest of my new kit
-Buy more guns
-Go to more games
-Travel this summer
-Continue working out like I have been
-Go get my PAL and RPAL
-Hopefully lots more!

Lol, ya I don't think this one is going anywhere fast. Still, if there was something better than airsoft, this would be it.

I agree. It would be expensive as fuck, but people would do it. Full face and head protection, chest protection and a cup; I'll do it without blinking. I've been shot with simmunition before (my military father had a cruel sense of humor, and I'm a crazy person who wanted to see what it felt like, probably a bad idea). Took one to the thigh and it felt like someone whacked me with a 2x4 or a small bat; a nice thudding sound and feeling. Nice big welt and hurt whenever I would flex. I'd still do it though. Its like getting hit by a frozen paintball or a marble fired from a paintball gun (yes I've tried this, its awesome) from one foot away on the bare skin.

If I remember correctly when checking the round out it was almost like a red round made of chalk like material, but wouldn't rub off colour like chalk would, although maybe I'm remember incorrectly. I just remember that it left a nice 1-2 inch spatter of red "powder" on my jeans that had to be washed off.
