Awesome. Do you mind saying where you picked up the piece?

Thanks!

Tokyo Model Company sells them... shipped it was $80.... pretty expensive but well worth it if you actually want to keep all the cool features that G&G offers but have a usable gun for the field.

Yes, I have just received the upper rail to replace the shitty RDS.

Where did you get this rail? I've been looking to replace my RDS with a rail as well!

Look at the post directly above yours...

DMZ Paintball in St Catharines has them in stock, if you're looking for one.

I just got mine in, love it.

question though. Do you happen to have or have tried third party P90 mags on it? I have two Echo1 P90 mags, and they dont seem to fire consistently. I think it has to do with the little tab on the mag that gets pressed, allow the BBs to move into the gun, but it doesnt get pressed down all the way, so I have to hold pressure on top of the mag for the BBs to feed.

A bit disappointing. I havnt heard anything about G&G P90 mags being sold separately either.

Also, im having issues with batteries fitting all the way. The Lipo I bought sticks a bit too high to allow the back cover to slide on. What brand is your Lipo?

I use TM P90 Mags. you have to make sure that you do not fill the magazine all way way or you will have that issue. My mags feed perfectly now that I dont fill them to capastiy. but I had this issue when I owned the KS P90 too, so it's not specific to just the G&G version of the P90.

As for the battery, I use an 11.1v 1100mAh 15c HOT POWER wired to deans connectors. I got it from airsoftdepot for a great price. highly recommend picking them up as they also fit inside an M4 buffer tube :)

I know I'm kind of bumping a dormant thread but I have a question directed to the OP:

Have you ever held G&G's FN F2000? If you have, is the polymer on the F2000 comparable to the polymer/plastic on the G&G P90?

I like the F2000's reinforced polymer, it's very strong and has no flex. I was hoping G&G used the same polymer in their P90. My current KS P90 has feeding issues and the I am not a fan of the ABS plastic used or the pot metal upper reciever.

I have held the G&G F2000 but it was so long ago I can't remember the build quality of it. I can guarentee you that the body on the G&G P90 is MUCH better than the KS P90.

I am not a big fan of AEG in general, but this laser...

I want to share some info from "real steel" P90 Manual for this review. ;)

the polymer in the g&g pdw 99 and the G&G fn2000 are the same. dissapointed by the pdw 99...massively disappointed.

the laser isnt that powerful and the green dot sight is horrific in anything but total darkness.

Styrak April 17th, 2013 19:58

What about the laser?

What your mean?

Oh, i got it. By saying "but this laser..." i mean it's rare to see "build-in" laser on P90 replica. I saw only several on DEN Trinity (which was custom made). So, i think G&G is first who did it in serial model. ALSO, FNH count models with laser and models without it as two separate lower receivers. Same with Red Dot Upper Receiver.
