So on my weapon..a marushin m12 carbine...should i go for rds or scope...i find the range to be absolutly superior compared to my stock aerg's i have owned...I can hit my back fence from my porch...which is id have to say at least 150 feet (providing the hop up is up)...i find the bb gets lost to my eye after a lil while cuz it flies pretty fast...so I guess a 4x scope would do well...however where i [play at flagraiders there isnt any distance really that far to where u cant see your bbs anymore...

Holosight all the way. Wait till you see the whites of their eyes before you shoot. That way, you'll not miss and give away your position.

Meh, Bruce is biased! Lol

He has a REAL STEEL Holosight that has a severe drool factor to it, am jealous yes, but shit it's nice!!!!!!

I use an RDS, Its great for CQB, but also good for outdoor games, I find I can aquire targets slightly faster with it. But there are times where your not quite sure if its a tree stump or someones heads way off in the bushes, where some magnification would be really helpful. I should start to carry a set of binoculars.

For the spotting, I carry around a little 10x monocular. Works just fine, although to fight paralax, I have to jam my goggles into my head.

Other than that, RDS is all you need for Airsoft.
