I considered a drop leg, but the mp7 is heavy to wear on a leg, even with my fatass legs.. the extended mag makes it even worse.

I wanted to try the 3way holster to put it on my back but it's sold out everywhere and super expensive. wgc had their own 3 way but they've discontinued it.

Agree on not doing the drop leg. I would carry the MP7 with a short mag .. and have a couple of long ones in a M4 pouch on my first line if I was doing this.. but I would not carry a MP7 as a secondary.. it's the wrong gun for that role.

MP7 is a good CQB gun, and a solid choice for self protection in the field if you are not expecting to have to fight, or are filling a sniper role but a good compact pistol will serve you better as a second weapon in a standard combat role. If you are having problems figuring out how you are going to carry something, you need to reassess carrying it at all.

true, the mp7 was bought for the rare indoor cqb game that I would play. With 4 extended mags and a pistol with 4 mags, I can almost use it as a primary in a light action role. I don't intend on carrying it as a secondary all the time... but it's just too damn cool not to use it at least a couple times. :P
