That or the actual crash and position of the helicopter made it impossible for them to utilize it - i.e. entirely on its side, crumpled against a wall, etc.

Colt 1911A1s to Deltas, M9s to Rangers.

or it would make for a much shorter movie. although it would make a really really cool scene and they'd still be alive, but i think it's like the same thing in horror movies where the girl runs away, trips and gets killed. same thing *shrugs*.

The miniguns are electrically driven.

But since the movie is based on real events, that would be like saying the Titanic never sank.

Also, i think the arming switch for the miniguns were in the cockpit.. Maybe they didnt want to take the time to try and figure out where teh switch was, and instead wanted to shoot??

As everyone else said, 1911's in deltas hands, and m9 for the rangers.

Wow people.... I forgot that I made this thread. I know what the pistols are now after using google about a year ago. Thanks for the input anyways.

im partial to the look of the M9's myself. i like a heavier caliber when i shoot for real tho

I think most operators now are using sigs. I read something about some delta guys that got custom built hi-cap STIs, custom tuned by Larry Vickers. >_O;

screw the miniguns, pick up one of the billion AKs littering the streets

Everybody has 'heard' something about delta guys using some kind of 1911.

M1911's for sure.

If not then, berettas.
