I would be interested in one for a WA para if they are compatible.

The barrels are easy to change.

Someone is going to have to check. If the WA barrel screws on and off then there is a high likelyhood of them working.

Right now I am building off a KJW P14.

Do I have a volunteer for a tester? If Madmax wants to measure one of his Paras (if he still has them)

If there is a KJ para at the meet i go to this weekend, i'll scope it out.

I meant if you make the thread protectors will they be gnarled? Guess I wasn't too clear on that, sorry.

the KJ is a direct copy of the WA. I see no reason they would not fit. I am ordering a guarder WA chamber for my Para just to make sure. =)

I'm pretty sure he can do anything you want, as long as he has a gnUrling tool and a -14mm tap (which he stated he might get).

ColtFarmer October 14th, 2005 01:35

if we're gonna plit hairs... Knurled.

Maelstrom October 14th, 2005 11:38

WA Para HRT barrels screw on and off, heck forget the thread protectors just unscrew the damned threaded barrel and shove on the normal one when you don't use a silencer. I can't measure the chamber threads though because i have no clue how.

Tankdude October 14th, 2005 13:48

I found a knurling tool in the shop. But I am not making thread protectors. Just do what Maelstrom said.

Tankdude October 19th, 2005 10:23

Updated. Taps are on order and so is the metal stock.

ColtFarmer October 19th, 2005 21:41

can't wait =) thanks again man for the work you are putting in!

so are they almost ready?

Tankdude December 1st, 2005 20:30

Still working on the first one. I got the internal threading correct and it fits on the chamber.

Looking to do them up on a CNC machine when I get home in a few weeks. Be quicker and cheaper.
