The negatively charged BBs follow the positively charged path the LASER leaves in the atmosphere. It's very effective.

Of course you do have to wrap your hopup chamber in yards of Teflon tape but it's worth it.

Ohhh i see. So as long as you're using ferromagnetic BBs, they'll follow the path of the laser.
But is the north magnetic pole going to drag the BBs off? Or will the earths magnetic field counteract that affect by dragging the BBs upward against gravity?

A little bit of both. I just give it dab of Kentucky windage.

... wut.

Long story short, a laser is a personal preference like a lot of other things, but I wouldn't bother with it on a DMR. I have one on my M4 because I use it in CQB, where a laser can help direct where my muzzle is pointed quickly. At range, I feel like it would just give you away with no real upside.

Or, if you like, HAY GUISE, ITS KEWL LIKE IN CAWA DOODY. I R OPURATUR.

Don't worry, nobody uses a laser on a DMR in broad daylight. Nobody.
You'd need a scope to even see it at the ranges you'd be shooting, and if you already have the scope, then HEY! what the heck do you need a laser for? lol

Thoughts On A G&G M14 (Regular NOT EBR) as a base gun for a DMR? or Just stick with the Good old M16's? ( I have 2 M16's Just looking to try something different

I have the EBR, which is the same guts as the stock one and it is a phenomenal DMR platform imo.

I haven't had it tuned to get 300' range out of it but I can easily touch people in the 250' to 260' range provided there is no wind.

Cheers Mate and for upgrades I'm assuming you have thrown a new barrel in it plus a rubber?
