just googled it. and it looks NICE. @ 320$ CAN its a little pricey for a noob like me, but i like it. maybe i'll upgrade one day ;)

If $320 seems pricey, you may find airsoft too pricey as a hobby as well.

lol, maybe i should have specified, for a gun (that doesn't come with a battery or charger), its a little pricey. If i bought a gun in the 260$ range, that extra 60$ i save could go towards a good set of gogles, a mask, an extra mag and some bbs, a smart charger, my admission into a game, a foregrip, an optic, a set of BDUs or some other necessity or accessory.
when you're a noob, you try to get the biggest bang for your buck and manage cash as not to over do it on one thing and end up with shit quality somewhere else. i wanna start airsoft with average gear at the best price possible.

foregrip unnecessary
optic unnecessary
bdus... arguably unnecessary to start.

a reliable gun.
quality eyewear.
mask... depending on if you like to live dangerously, unnecessary.
boots... but again arguably unnecessary to start depending on where you're playing.


your foregrip and optic are going to look nice on your paperweight when it breaks. Cause you bought those and didn't budget for inevitable internal repairs.

for were i'm playing BDUs are a must however. but you kinda get my point. i personally set my budget (a few months back) at the 270$ range and told myself that i'd make an exception to jump to 300$ if a product looked like a godsend.
i'll watch a few reviews on the Ares and see if it strikes me enough to skip the G&Gs, King Arms and CYMA. maybe i'll make that exception.
