Ah, excellent. I'll try to head over sometime, but I can't bring back anything on the plane with me, and I don't feel like shipping...
Besides, I hate Armalites. Still, I'd like to see what this thing is. |
You probably wont find it as good as your $800 marui watever u have, but as I said, Im a beginner and thats Ill I can afford rite now.
|
Nah, I have a $450 Marui FA-MAS.
It's OK, just the fact it's a brand I've never heard of has sparked my interest. I checked, it's a 10 minute drive from where I am... |
Ok, cool. Also, its probably nowhere near as good as a Marui, but It'll do for now. Thats too bad you cant bring on th plane, lol. They got a whole new shippment of springers from $30 and AEG's from $169
|
Ah... I find there's no real point to spring pistols (I mean, no-one skirmishes with them), so I think they should pull the cheaper more abundant ones from the shelves... I hope to God they don't have these on display.

In general, you cant find anything decent for less than $600. If less, they tend to break really fast.
Save your money next time. Learning with a bad gun is not good, it wont even give you a faint idea for what airsoft really is. |
My M16a3 looks exactly like this:

Hmm... doesn't look too bad. Might make for a nice project gun... perhaps, with a lot of work, you could somehow drop a nice mechbox into that... |
I saw your M16 in many US shop like Icefire. It's a springer. Also, this is not a M16 A3, it don't have the rail on the top. It's a M16 A1 with the M16 A2 hanguard and lot of little accessories...
Save your money for a real AEG, you can got it for a good price on Double Edge or Rangers. |
Bob, you know the $600 is a ballpark figure by the time you have a gun, decent charger, ammo, batteries, extra mags. Yes there are exceptions. But the point is still valid.

Let's not rain on Shooter's parade. It's his toy, his hard earned money & he is very happy with it. That in itself is priceless.

As for Shooter, I respect that. It's his hard-earned money, and he can practice with it until he has enough for a proper AEG. PS: If it is hard to read this thread, I've edited out a lot of my responses. Trying to keep my post-count down, it seems that I've forgotten about forum ettiquete. |
Is it just me or is it odd that in most cases airsoft guns costs more than the real weapon they try to copy.

i think its mostly in canada that airsoft out prices legal real steel.
and then again, i think the guns that are out priced are the lower end ones like the norincos and such. Note: i was talking about legal guns, im sure illegal guns are much cheaper than airsoft. |
