Erik, Ive read that the guns are compatible with anything TM can use. Body, mags, stock, mechbox shit, everything. BEST your money can buy. I am now a UTG convert

Seriously, read my springer story. If I got a guy with that, you can definately get a few with this.

It'll hold itself at the same as a normal TM MP5 (maybe a bit lower...) and even MP5Ks are used in some outdoor games, it will definately give you good mobility.
It's all about your play style.

Though, if you're a fat guy that can't run faster more than a normal guy walks, get a upgraded M14 instead.

ya man, I bought one off Sam around the same time you did, it's a great gun.. couldn't get the flashhider off though...no biggie

can TM or STAR mp5 mags fit?? with the mech box is it re-enforce?? if it does break can it be swaped with a tm one?? with the flash hidder can tm or any other fit?? where did you get the suppresors?? did it come with it....

need more convincing..need a indoor gun...

1. ANy AEG MP5 mag will work. CA, ICS, TM, STAR etc etc.
2.The mechbox is an exact TM ver2 copy. That means it is not reinforced but could be swapped.
3.The flashider is a totally different thread than TM. Im not sure what it is.
3.It does not come with a silencer.

Ya, Mines a little screwy too but, it doesn't really matter. Full auto, semi-auto..who cares as long as I get you

CannonFodder January 27th, 2006 09:49

it's the name that throw everyone off, just because it's not the standard name brand doesn't mean it sucks, The UTG Mp5 is a serious gun, not some shitty softair crap. I'd say it'll hold its own in CQB against just about anything, dunno about outdoors but, it never hurts (that much) to try

yanhchan January 27th, 2006 09:54

yeah UNDER THE GUN...LOL what kind of name is that...better then CYMA though...Worst name of all...NEONFIRE...UGH

LucidFox January 28th, 2006 14:16

Meh. I'm looking forward to mine. :borg:

yanhchan January 28th, 2006 23:07

I'm well aware of that....LOL

CannonFodder January 29th, 2006 11:04

damn I love this gun, trying to fire off enough to test the long-term durability, so far at around 7000 bbs, can't wait for good old 20,000

mirage13 January 29th, 2006 15:34

Can someone shoot like 10 shots on semi and 10 shots on full auto at two seperate paper targets from like 50 feet, using the sights to aim directly at the center of the target (duh), and post a pic so I can see how accurate this thing is? And don't re-do it so that you look like you're a good shot, be objective! Also, try not to guess what 50 feet is, and use a tape :)

I will love you forever, if that means anything.

yanhchan January 29th, 2006 19:47

I'm up for the challenge. I'll even wear goggles. I'll ask the guard of my apartment building if I could use the selcuded part under supervision to try this out. I know him well so it should be no problem.

Pics up later this week.

mirage13 January 29th, 2006 19:53

 Thanks man, this will probably be the deciding factor for me.

One other thing, what exactly is "screwy" about the selector switch? Is it loose, causing it to change settings when shaken?

yanhchan January 29th, 2006 20:00

The selector switch is always a little off so it doesn't allign to the markings but it snaps to each selection properly...it does like to do 2 burst shots sometimes on Semi...other then that its great
