Wouldnt setting the hopup so high give you more distance without having to tilt the gun upwards?

Nope, they shoot about 25 feet forward, and then go straight up into the blue.

and are never seen again, but there is a rumor of it being a stray airsoft pellet that took out challenger and discovery.
