ya i have heard to decide for my self just i like to get ideas and a nice starting point that way i know there is some experience that is truly in the field that i am reading about not jus tsome softcore wannabe player.

Didn't read any of the opinions here, but I go full out for the KSC G19. I had two of them, my main one is metal slide/outer barrel, 6.04mm tightbore, enhanced recoil spring and guiderod, enhanced hammer spring and metal mag catch. I can get mansized target hits using 0.30g BBs (or heavier, up to 0.43g done that more than a few times) and propane past 100ft (just gotta aim it right, top of rear sight in line with bottom of white front sight's dot, same as I do at 30ft in my basement........ besides, it points naturally that way). And, when I played at Rawdon for Quick Pass 2 this past July, later in the day I was among the small group securing the area arounf the objective (comm tower) we had just blown up. My MP5 plugged on me (those that don't know, there is a LOT of sandy areas around that field, if not half & half desert and woodlands) I resorted to my G19 and 5 mags loaded with 0.43g Bbs (the heaviest BBs I had without using my $25 per 500 Super Grand Master sniper ammo) to do may part in holding the area. Got a number of hits on guys, but the point I'm making in this, is that I got hit once, out in the open, I holstered my G19 in my drop leg while lying on my back, the medic ran to me, grabbed me under my shoulders while "under fire" and tried to drag me to cover to apply the 'bandage'. I was pushing with my legs to help him carry me, my G19 fell out of my holster into the sand and my pushing with my legs covered it with sand. After being medic'd, I ran back and grabbed it, knocked it against my hand a few times, then went back to firing off the rest of my mags (were about 3 left). It fired no problem. Try that with a GBB that has an exposed hammer!

Stock, the gun is impressive, has good kick to it and is pretty accurate, more so when using more stable (heavier) ammo and propane. Can get an easy 1000 shots or more when stock (mileage varies though for some, whose slide breaks after a few hundred, not my experience with my stock G19 though) and running propane. Only thing I saw was the slide catch notch wore out some on the plastic slide, but a knife fixed it up just fine.

One advantage I can say compared about the KSC G19 compared to the DE is that the slide is a short action slide, unlike the Beretta, Desert Eagle, 1911, etc. Since the slide action is so short, it has a higher "rate of fire", kinda a 'snap, snap, snap' as opposed to a 'snaap. snaap, snaap' of larger "calibre" guns (based upon the real gun it was modelled after).

As far as KSC Glocks go, the G19 has manufacturing upgrades that other KSC Glocks don't have. The heavy weight frame for example (has metal powder mixed with the plastic to make it feel heavier and 'cold to the touch') but also comes stock with a steel recoil spring guide (the others are plastic) and steel feed ramp (same, others are all plastic, heard about a couple feed ramps snapping on KSC G18C).

ok that is a good idea but i am curious what was the value on the stock g19 then upgraded like yours.

Stock KSC G19 you can get for anywhere from $200 used (unless you find a great deal) to about $250 new.

Upgrades, well, my main one I bought used with a metal slide, cost me $200, metal mag catch was about $15CDN, Enhanced hammer spring ( bought a new one and moved my old one to my stock G19 to absorb more propane powered recoil) for about $10CDN, enhanced hammer spring was less than $10CDN, Guarder metal magcatch was I think $12CDN, and the HEAD 1950 tightbore was I think about $20USD from WGC. So overall upgrades without buying a GOOD metal slide kit (avoid at all costs G&G made ones, they are shit and lock up more than they fire) upgrades are about $40-60 depending on what you decide to buy. In case anyone is wondering, it shot 341fps one day with 0.20g BBs, and right after got about 267fps with 0.36g BBs.

I have a G19 with a metal slide and upgraded recoil and 150% hammer spring. Really acurate, easy to strip and hard hitting. It Never fails. Tons of aftermarket parts around. without a doubt a tough act to follow.

glock is a good buy, just about EVERY mag for a glock is interchangable, mags usually dont leak, and mags are super cheap (usually under $40) and theyre one of the more reliable gbb's. i dont have one myself, but i do reccomend it.

i have a ksc usp... its good. my metal slide upgrade was dissapointing tho. mostly because the barrel on chamber block wasnt drilled out enough for my inner barrel to fit through like it did on my stock slide, so i had to manually drill it out myself to fit my barrel in and put together... pretty ghey. and mags are friggen expensive, like $60+ and they leak... my one mag is only 2 months old and its leaking already. the one thing is i can go through 5 mags before i have to refill it.

i also have a 5.1 hicappa dragon. i really like this one. mags are cheap, they dont leak, can usually do 2-3 mags on one fill. but theyre goddamn expensive to boot.

a team member has a kjw sig 226 (now im not a big fan of kjw's!) but his gun came all metal, its solid, heavey, very reliable, and was pretty cheap. down side is one mag - one fill, mags are rare and expensive ($40-$60)

id reccommend either a glock, or the hicappa... or even the sig, i lean towards ksc or we other wise.

TM M1911a1, nice stock gun, with 0.2g mine shoots an average 290fps on propane, although mags are a little hard to come by. But enjoy searching for the one GBB too call yours

TM Sig P226R. I'm not debating it.

For a Glock sized (midframe size) gun, I can't argue either that the TM P226 is a pretty sweet gun for the accuracy and consistency. Except too many functions (external hammer, decocking lever, etc.) compared to the Glock. Glock only has a mag catch and a slide release lever, making it very simple. Add in the trigger safety, there ya go, keep your finger out of the trigger.......... ready to go under extreme stress.

Ok i am narrowing it down to glock vs d Eagle. post pros and cons if you don;t mind.

Glock
Pros:
-many mags are interchangable
-mags and guns are plentiful on the market
-small to large frame size so pick the model that fits you best
-millions of aftermarket parts and accessories(ok not millions)
-lots of holsters avalible
-good quality as in durable
-simple to use
-personally I love the look

Cons:
-the full auto glocks eat bbs like popcorn and can destroy there internals that much faster
-some people really dont like the look

Deagle:
Pros:
-long inner barrel
-powerful
-more conventional handgun look
-larger capacity mags

Cons:
-hard to find as tm is the only major making of this gun
-heavy
-looking for spare mags at retailers
-propane guzzler
-have fun finding a holster.


personally if I were you Id go with a safe bet. The KSC glock 19 almost every ksc glock mag can go in this gun and is a medium sized frame so your shots will have some accuracy. Mags are like $40 a mag and there seems to be the most aftermarket parts for this gun.

Having said all that I own a tm glock 26. Either way have fun thats what this game is all about.

tm glock 18c for its durability rather than ksc/kwa just because it costs way too much for gas, parts that may wear down faster such as slides and internals.
