I have played with many pistols and a G19 with Upgraded Slide, Updgraded Recoil Spring, and Upgraded hammer spring its a reliable sidearm and very
accurate with a 6.03 and .30's! Now with the addition of a nice $50 serpa holster its dead sexy.

Oh and FPS_boy if you want to know what Upgraded FMU KSC Mk.23 kick like on propane I got it on my computer that I recorded when I had one before it was sold to Daniel and then to Shinjin and I'm not even sure who is the recent owner! I want it back! LOL

And since you're live in Prince George you can go ask Dave Horton from NIA how mighty it felt when he got to fire it :P

Daniel got sloppy seconds and I got sloppier thirds
and it was still a great gun
:p

Ive got another HW MK23 socom with a zeke metal slide and barrel set at the moment...just missing a few pieces here and there
SD is far superior to the zeke kit

first round ever played with the socom was on the ferry; I took out 3 people with 3 pairs of doubletapped shots
ahhh....good times

Most police agencies that use GLocks use the Glock 23, which is a 19 sized gun but in .40S&W (close to .45ACP power in a 9mm length package).

Regarding the two, it's really a matter of preference. The Glock 19 by KSC is the most reliable Glock made by them, has more metal parts and a much better made frame. Upgrade/replacement parts are much easier to find, and the Glock works well and keeps working well in sandy environments. And it's much easier to find gear that will holster the gun and mags. And even stock and on propane, if you add an enhanved recoil spring, this gun has a very fast and crisp cyclic rate.

The KSC Mk23 is a sluggish beast (as far as shooting it goes, long and slow slide travel), still a pretty cool gun, especially that you can fire it in NBB mode (load a BB from the mag, drop the hammer, fire it in double action......... BB rips outta there but the slide doesn't move, making it a very quiet gun). I'd love to have one simply because of this fact.

Fps_boy if you're going to deck it out like I did prepare to blow a lot of dough. I spent nearly 700 cdn the gun with metal slide/barrel and spring upgrades, this is without the silencer and the mags and the holster. You're looking at 1.2k

But you know what Shinjin, the only reason I sold it was because I wanted to fund my real USP tactical and which inturn I have one right now... Maybe you want to get a PAL for real Mk.23 LOL

hey i never knew that! thats pretty cool.
haha stalker is loyal to his Glock 19 :D
i'd recommend the Glock 19 or any Glock made by the companies, KSC, KJW, TM. I've owned many Glocks by KSC in the past, if you want reliability in stock form, stay away from the full auto Glocks KSC makes.

maintaining Glocks are really easy, as well as repairing/modifying. performance wise, they're decent.

Really? I remember seeing them in a magazine for roughly $3100.

Either way, why would you want a RS MK.23? 1911s are much cheaper and easier to maintain/upgrade.

Shinjin_MC June 23rd, 2007 00:40

generally, zeke products are better than SD, but the zeke mk23 kit is one of their earlier products and is cast and painted, compared to SD's CNC'd annodized finish
over the years, zeke has gotten a LOT better

I believe mk23's go for mid 2g's; 3.1k is more like a USP expert, if memory serves me

shelling out that much is kind of hard for me to justify seeing as I live bloody far away from a pistol range

well...mk23's arent really in need of any upgrades in the first place
