Who did she play with? Any guys from ASC? I saw "Wolfpack" being mentioned..

Some of the Winnipeg Wolfpack guy use this board, but mostly only for access to the buy & sell. Most use their own forum or the MAA forums. And yeah, it's all the same Wolfpack - Ontario and Manitoba are one and the same.

It'd be nice if Ontario and Canada Central would get some good press about it.

Unfortunately for Ontario, the vast majority of the population is focused around urban centres and thus so is the media. You'd have to get through to the journalist and the editor and even then, the populace would see and hear only what they want to - i.e. "oh my gawd, people running around with realistic looking guns in the area shooting each other - we need to ban!"

Would be nice to see something on the west coast like this too. And my wife plays with me and she likes it just as much as I do. :D

theres a defeatist attitude.
people will believe what they want to believe, but what they read can influence what they believe. look at this way, right now theyre already thinking "omg, para military freaks training to do evil things", so if you dont do anything, nothing will change.


The girl in the article was the journalist that came to US. not the other way round. she approached us asking to do an article on the sport.


all the same, like Amos said, there are girls in the MAA on teams who actually come out on a regular basis. including one on our team.

I work with a small independent newspaper. I wasn't trying to be defeatist, I was just reflecting the attitudes of people that went against a few people that tried to open a field somewhere in Toronto a few years ago...
