Dyord, I use 0.30g BB in all my GBBs (KSC MK23 and G19s), so stop whining about cost. Lol, I've actually used up to 0.43g in them before as well.
Donster, get a Prometheus 110SP spring, I have one in my MP5 and it shoots 365fps. If you add a tightbore and a bearing spring guide, that'll put you close to 390fps. Avoid the PDI springs, they will reduce your battery life as well as possible damage your internals (if a V2 merchbox, itll be destroyed within a few thousand shots). |
Just had a game today.. grouping is still inconsistent using .28's.. But didn't see the difference from .25's. Now I'm planning to buy a tight barrel next week.
btw, may I ask how many fps drop does .28's have from the standard .2's? Because my SP160 setup just clocked 405fps.. I found it very frustrating because I was expecting 500+ |
Stalker thanks for the info. i will be buying a TM M14 soon, so if you have any advice for that, that would be sweet. i was hoping to have it shoot at least around 350ish with .28-.30s.

does anyone know what's the bore size of a stock TM AUG barrel? I'm planning to buy CA 6.04, 510mm barrel.
|
i think its around 6.08-6.10, or at least that is what i heard stock TM guns were. Get a prometheus barrel. i have heard nothing bad about them; only good.

stock TM innerbarrels are 6.08.
if you're on a budget get Systema tightbores |
Velocity drop with .28g is around 50-60fps. I use a general rul.e of thumb, I've seen the results from a few different guns, there is roughly 100fps difference between .20g BBs and .36g BBs, so .28g being in the middle......... 50fps. 0.25g tend to be about 30-40fps lower than 0.20g.
