I really wish they would sponsor our team....

Hey everyone.

Hahaha, thats funny lol, I get the idea, and dont worry, I dont plan on dropping it on cement lol. As Ive said, I do know that G&P and etc. all make very high quality guns, and buying one of them probly is cheaper in the long run, but I simply dont have the funds to get one without saving up for several more months, and I would like to get into the game right away if I can.

A carpeted floor floor can do it too :(

Hey everyone.

So Ive gotten a few pm's, and it seems like it would be perfectly okay to go with a JG over a CA if I wanted, witch is what I might do, but well see.

i would get the JG. Usually the whole point of buying CA is for the Full metal feature. if you get the sportline, than its not better than the JG. i would in fact say it is worse cause CA's have known internal issues out of the box and they are less powerful than the JG. Furthermore, JG's are TM clones, so you would have an extremely easy time acquiring parts for it.

EDIT: i dont mean to sound like a negative nancy and shit on your day, but while the politeness of your posts (hey everyone etc) is very considerate, it is not necessary. again, i dont mean for this to be taken in a negative light by any means. IMO, save that for the start of a new thread, not for each individual post. just thought i would let you know. :)

Alright, Ill cut the "Hey everyone" crap out lol, but, just outof the blue, where the hell did that come from? hahahhaha

And yeah, that does make sense, Ive read that up alot too that they do have problems, so when the time comes, I will be gettin a JG.

Ive been looking into getting a new airsoft gun since Im tired of my clearsoft peice (yes, I know, Im not AGE VERIFIED, Im working one that, I just turned 18 on the 17th, so please dont flame, I live in a really small town in the butt f*** nowhere in b.c., and I dont get out of this town very much.).

Age verification isn't the be all and end all of airsoft life. I live in the NWT, where there are no approved age verifiers. I just don't care anymore, because it's impossible for me to get verified.

Join the club. It's not that bad.

There is the "underage" club, the "verified" club, then the "unverified overage" club.

The only thing I miss out on are the classifieds, on one bulletin board.

Captian Insano February 1st, 2008 22:01

Oh I wanst trying to say that Im screwed for life or anything and Ill never be able to play airsoft. Its just I see alot of flame when people post about gettin a gun and there not verified and I was just pointing out that I wont be able to lol. And that sucks, same here, no approved age verifiers.

Believe it or not i actually own both of them. I prefer to use the JG, it just sounds nicer but the acuracy isnt as good as the CA. But yeah take the JG over the CA.

Captian Insano February 3rd, 2008 17:52

Thats good to here someone has/does own both guns, thanks for the info. Is the accuracy significantly lower, or is it just the CA has a bit of an advantage on the JG? Not that its a huge huge deal, as I would be upgrading to the JP forend with a new longer inner barrel.

The JG is significantly lower than the CA, but that shouldn't matter mauch seeing how you'll be upgrading it. I ordered a tight bore barrel it's still on the road. Also it would be a good idea to get a new battery for the JG, the one that comes with the gun isnt that good. I'm using a 9.6v intellect 2000mah.

ThunderCactus February 3rd, 2008 20:11

Only reason the CA sounds worse is because of the motor it uses, TM EG700 motors are real nice and quiet compared to CA.

Captian Insano February 3rd, 2008 23:00

Thats good to know, I would be nice if it had a comparable accuracy because even when I get the gun itll be a couple weeks before I have the kit and barrel, but oh well lol. Its good to know that its quieter then the CA because I do plan on being a bit sneaky lol.
