just a question threezero, have you bought this wood kit on ebay from a certain CA_airsoft? If yes well i had the same problem as you but mine is an RPK kit.

No I got the kit when i brought my ak I have no idea of the brand. The wood looks shape but definately not expensive

Hold on!

Yopu don't have to modify your stock, you can re-arrange your battery to fit!

You have to move the last cell (the one at the end) so that is it fitted tip-to-tip with one of the other of the cells adjacent.

So you get:

Then the cell should slide inside the hole already there.

way to bring up an old thread. How do i go about modifying the battery like that? I still havn't got around to drilling the stocks still but i'm at hk atm and i'm thinking if i should just get myself a new wood kit made with better material and one where i won't encounter this problem.
